PARADISE DISPATCH | CYCLE 01: COBALT DOWN

Three locations have been identified across the island. Each tells a different story. All three point toward the same disturbing operation.

The Cobalt aircraft incident was supposed to be an isolated event. At least, that was the assumption when the wreckage was first reported. But the activity that followed has raised questions far beyond what brought the aircraft down.

Armed personnel have been observed around abandoned facilities, previously deserted structures show signs of renewed activity, and the infected continue to appear in places where their presence defies easy explanation.

Now, three locations have drawn particular attention. They appear to have served different purposes, yet each has been connected to a name that is becoming increasingly familiar across the island.

Project Eden.

THE QUARANTINE SANCTUARY

The first reports came from an isolated sanctuary, a building that once offered refuge during the island's earliest days of unrest.

Today, it is known as the Quarantine Sanctuary.

The presence of personnel wearing protective equipment raises immediate questions about what the building was used for after its original occupants disappeared. Its apparent conversion into a secured location suggests that the sanctuary's purpose changed significantly during the collapse.

Was it a shelter for those seeking protection from the infection? A containment site for those already exposed? Or something else entirely?

Whatever happened there, the sanctuary is no longer the peaceful refuge it once appeared to be.

EDEN MEDICAL FACILITY

Of the three discoveries, the Eden Medical Facility presents perhaps the most troubling questions.

Medical installations should represent treatment, recovery, and the preservation of life. Yet the connection between this facility and Cobalt's security presence suggests that its operations may have extended beyond conventional medical care.

The presence of infected individuals across the island makes the possibility of biological research difficult to dismiss. Whether the facility was studying the infection, attempting to control it, or pursuing another objective remains unknown.

One question has become increasingly difficult to ignore: Why would a medical operation require armed protection long after the island's healthcare system had collapsed?

For now, the facility provides more questions than answers.

EDEN BURIAL VAULT

The third location introduces a darker possibility.

The Eden Burial Vault stands as a reminder of the lives lost during the island's collapse. Its apparent connection to the same network of facilities, however, suggests there may be more to its history than the disposal of the dead.

Burial sites were an inevitable consequence of the disaster. What remains unexplained is why this particular location appears to have attracted Cobalt's attention.

Burial sites were an inevitable consequence of the disaster. What remains unexplained is why this particular location appears to have attracted Cobalt's attention.

Were the individuals buried there victims of the infection? Were they connected to the medical facility? And what reason would anyone have to secure a burial site after so much time had passed?

No verified account has yet established what occurred inside the vault.

A PATTERN BEGINS TO EMERGE

A sanctuary associated with quarantine. A medical facility connected to an unidentified research operation. A burial vault whose significance remains unexplained.

Individually, these sites might be dismissed as remnants of the collapse. Together, they suggest an organized effort involving containment, medical activity, and the aftermath of an unknown event.

The connection does not prove that Cobalt created the infection. It does not establish whether Project Eden was intended to save lives or serve some other purpose.

But it does suggest that someone understood far more about the island's condition than the surviving population was ever told.

And if Cobalt's activities ended with the collapse, why are its personnel still guarding the places where those answers might be found?

THE INVESTIGATION CONTINUES

Paradise Haven remains the island's refuge, but the discoveries beyond its boundaries are a reminder that the collapse left behind more than abandoned buildings and infected survivors.

Islanders exploring the three identified facilities should expect resistance. The locations are not ordinary ruins, and their connection to Project Eden remains an active concern.

Paradise Dispatch will continue following reports of Cobalt activity and documenting discoveries as new evidence becomes available.

For the moment, one conclusion is difficult to escape.

The island survived the collapse. Whatever Cobalt was doing here may have survived it too.

And the question remains:

What was Project Eden really trying to accomplish?
