PARADISE HAVEN — What began as two unexplained transmissions on an abandoned Cobalt medical frequency has developed into a wider investigation after Paradise Haven field teams identified three locations believed to have connections to the island's former Project Eden program.
The discoveries come less than twenty-four hours after Haven communications operators intercepted signals carrying medical identifiers that had not appeared in the surviving network records for years. Neither transmission could be traced to a confirmed source, but the final recovered message has taken on new significance.
CONTAINMENT NOT CONFIRMED.
At the time, investigators could not determine whether the transmission was a warning, a malfunction or an automated report from equipment that should have stopped operating long ago.
Now, reports from across the island suggest there may be more to investigate than abandoned equipment.
THE QUARANTINE SANCTUARY

Deep within the island's dense vegetation, an old stone sanctuary has become the focus of Haven's first field investigation.
The structure, now identified as Quarantine Sanctuary, stands surrounded by overgrown grounds and towering trees. Although its architecture suggests a building originally intended for civilian use, armed personnel wearing protective hazmat equipment have been observed around its perimeter.
Their presence raises an immediate question: Why would an apparently abandoned sanctuary require armed protection?
Haven investigators suspect the structure may have been repurposed during Cobalt's expansion into restricted medical and containment research. Whether it served as a quarantine station, temporary refuge or something more troubling has not yet been established.
The presence of protective equipment suggests possible contamination concerns, but Haven has been unable to confirm whether the personnel are guarding the structure, preventing entry or securing material still held inside.
The site has been entered into Haven's active investigation records.
THE EDEN MEDICAL FACILITY
Far from the sanctuary's tropical surroundings, a fortified concrete structure stands exposed among snow-covered terrain.
