Three days have passed since our last dispatch, and preparations across Paradise Haven have continued without interruption. With the first official Cycle now just five days away, attention is turning toward the island's remaining Cobalt facilities and the unanswered questions surrounding their operations.

The island has changed considerably since the Fall. Once a tropical destination built around luxury, exploration, and escape, Paradise has become a place where survivors live alongside the remnants of a far more troubling history. The resorts and settlements remain, but so do the industrial installations, abandoned research facilities, and restricted territories left behind by Cobalt's expansion.

For the Islanders preparing to enter CYCLE 01, understanding that history may prove just as important as surviving the dangers ahead.

THE FACILITIES THAT REMAIN

Cobalt's presence did not disappear when Paradise fell. Across the island, remnants of its infrastructure continue to surface, from guarded installations and military equipment to abandoned laboratories and facilities connected to Project Eden.

Some locations appear to have been abandoned in haste. Others suggest a more deliberate withdrawal, with equipment, security systems, and valuable research left behind.

The most dangerous discoveries are concentrated within the locations now classified as Cobalt Black Sites. These facilities contain evidence of increasingly aggressive research and experimentation, with threats that become more formidable the deeper survivors investigate.

Among the recovered references is a designation that has yet to be fully explained: Project Revenant.

Whether these operations represent unfinished work, automated systems continuing their assigned functions, or something more deliberate remains unknown.

AN ISLAND THAT REFUSES TO STAY QUIET

While Cobalt's activities have attracted growing attention, they are far from the only danger facing the Islanders.

Armored convoys and military transports continue to complicate travel across the island. Hostile survivors occupy abandoned territory, infected populations remain a persistent threat, and wildlife has reclaimed areas once controlled by Paradise's residents.

There are also incidents that resist easy classification. Not every aircraft, disturbance, or unexpected encounter can be traced directly to Cobalt, and the island's history offers few reliable explanations for what continues to happen.

Paradise Operations has become the central point for organizing expeditions into these dangerous territories. From Raid World and Cobalt Black Sites to major world events, each operation offers survivors another opportunity to uncover what remains beyond the relative security of Paradise Haven.

But information remains incomplete, and even the most familiar locations can hold unexpected dangers.

THE FIRST OFFICIAL CYCLE

On Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM Eastern, LOST PARADISE 5X PvE officially opens CYCLE 01 — COBALT DOWN.

The transition begins the evening before. WIPEOUT activates Wednesday, October 14, at 8:00 PM Eastern, marking the final hours of the current world before the official wipe and the beginning of a fresh Cycle.

For those already living on the island, the transition represents an opportunity to begin again. For newcomers, it will be their first introduction to Paradise Haven, the operations network, and a world whose history is still being uncovered.

The Cycle will reset the island, but it will not erase every trace of what came before. The questions surrounding Cobalt, Project Eden, and the systems left behind remain central to the story unfolding across LOST PARADISE.

The first official Cycle is almost here, and the Islanders have only begun to understand what they have inherited.

CYCLE 01 — COBALT DOWN begins October 15, 2026.
