It's been three days since our last major update, and we've been putting in some serious hours getting LOST PARADISE ready for its official opening.
We're now just five days away from Thursday, October 15, 2026, when CYCLE 01 — COBALT DOWN officially begins.
Over the past several days, we've been rolling out improvements across the server and website, expanding our custom content, and working through the issues that come with building something considerably different from a traditional Rust PvE server.
There's still work to do, but we've made some important progress.
PARADISE OPERATIONS & CUSTOM CONTENT
One of our biggest areas of focus has been Paradise Operations, which brings our different server activities together under one connected system.
This includes Cobalt Black Sites, Raid World, armored convoys, armored trains, air operations, and our expanding collection of World Events.
We've also been working on custom monuments, improving how activities are presented in-game, and continuing to fine-tune encounters.
Our new in-game menus have received a significant visual update. We're still polishing image quality, interface consistency, arena containment, and some event behaviors before release.
We want these activities to feel like they belong in LOST PARADISE, rather than a collection of unrelated plugins.
WEBSITE, STORY & SURVIVOR FIELD MANUAL
We've also completed a substantial update to lostparadise.gg.
The Server, PvE, Events, Story, and Guides sections now better reflect the actual activities available throughout the island.
Our Survivor Field Manual has also been expanded to help players understand Paradise Haven, Raid World, Cobalt Black Sites, server commands, and the various systems they'll encounter.
We're continuing to connect the gameplay with the history of Paradise, Cobalt, Project Eden, and the Cycle. That doesn't mean everything will be explained immediately. There are parts of this island's story that we intend for players to discover over time.
QUALITY-OF-LIFE IMPROVEMENTS & FINAL TESTING
Alongside the larger additions, we're continuing to work on the smaller things that make everyday gameplay better.
That includes improving menus, refining NPC and event behavior, addressing reported issues, checking activity locations, and making sure the server's different systems work together as intended.
Some of this work isn't particularly exciting to announce, but it's important. A good PvE experience isn't just about how much content a server has. It's about whether that content works properly and whether players actually enjoy using it.
The server remains open for testing while we finish preparations. We appreciate everyone who's spent time playing, finding problems, and helping us improve things.
OFFICIAL LAUNCH SCHEDULE
Wednesday, October 14 — 8:00 PM Eastern
WIPEOUT begins. The final hours of the current world are underway.
Thursday, October 15 — 2:00 PM Eastern
The official full wipe takes place, and CYCLE 01 — COBALT DOWN begins.
This will be a fresh start for everyone. Any bases, inventories, or progress tied to the current testing world should be considered temporary.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Our immediate priority is getting everything as stable, polished, and enjoyable as possible before October 15.
After launch, we'll continue developing LOST PARADISE with additional content, improvements, new events, and further chapters of the island's story.
We know we're starting from the ground up, and we don't expect to build a massive community overnight. Our goal is to create a server people genuinely enjoy playing and want to return to.
If you're currently testing, please continue reporting anything that doesn't look or behave correctly. Every report helps us get closer to where we want to be.
To everyone who's supported the project, spent time testing, or simply followed along with our progress, thank you. We're looking forward to finally opening the doors.
Five days to go. We'll see you on the island.
